Welcome to the Julian Apple Days Festival!
A special weekend full of fun for the whole Family!
If
this is your first time or hundredth time to visit the Julian area, we
are so glad to have you. The Apple Days Festival has a long
history in Julian, dating back to the early 1900's, with apple
displays, apple treats and folks coming from all over to
experience the “apple”. Although Apple Days has
continued as the time of year to visit the Julian area for fresh apples
– it has been 33 years since the last Festival. We hope you
enjoy yourself and begin a new tradition with us.
The Festival is planned by The
Julian Merchants Association, a community group representing more than
90 merchants in the greater Julian area -- Julian, Wynola and Santa
Ysabel in San Diego County's eastern mountains.
Special thanks go to our Festival
Committee for the months of planning and preparation: Ginger
Ranck of Cabbages & Kings; Jennifer Bowman of Back Country Day
Dreams; Patricia McConnell of Mountain Top Antiques; Scott Baker of
Mountain High Bed & Breakfast and Observatory; and Tracy Turner of
Wynola Junction Antiques & Collectibles. Extra special thanks
to Menghini Winery for allowing us to hold this event at the Winery.
You won’t want to miss our
Julian Country Christmas Celebration, Saturday the 24th of November -
we’ll light the 80’ Christmas tree and kick-off a month of
fun holiday merriment.
